On April 24, 2007 at the Princess hotel, Bangkok, the Mahidol Migration Center (MMC) organized a  brain storming meeting in order to explore and discuss for the most appropriate data/information that will be used for an estimation of migrant workers in Thailand in the next 5-10 years.  The participants include experts in population projection, demographers, and high level officers from the Ministry of Interior: the bureau of registration administration, and immigration office in Bangkok.   Director of the Mahidol Migration Center - Professor Emeritus Dr Aphichat Chamratrithirong  was a chair of the meeting.
