The National Conference on Migrant Health 2019

Mahidol Migration Center (MMC)  was a co-organizer of “ the National Conference on Migrant Health 2019”  on November 18th 2019,  at the Miracle Grand hotel, Bangkok Thailand.

MMC member, Associate Prof. Dr Sureeporn Punpuing and Assistant Prof. Dr Chalermpol Chamchan were  the scientific committees of “the National Conference on Migrant Health 2019”, which the Ministry of Public Health was the main organizer.   

Assistant Prof. Dr Chalermpol Chamchan was a moderator of a session on “health system and cross-border migrant health”.  He also made a poster presentation on “Cross-border migrant children and health insurance: A case study in Mae Sot, Tak”Download Poster  which his co-authors are Kanya Aphipornchaisakul and Pongsak Muensakkda.

Professor Aphichat Chamratrittrirong, the MMC former director, Professor Pramote Prasartkul and Dr Napaphat Satchanawakul of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University were invited to attend this conference.
