From University of Sussex, Professor Paul Statham, Director, Sussex Centre for Migration Research (SCMR), and Deputy Director of Proposed, Centre for Innovation and Research in Wellbeing, visited and had a meeting with IPSR Faculty on A Sussex-Mahidol University Partnership Towards Building a European/SE Asian Research Network on Migration.

This Sussex-Mahidol University Research Partnership aims to develop new research on migration flows between Europe and SE Asia with a focus on care, wellbeing and retirement, and  marriage, sex tourism and cultural interaction.  It is led by the Sussex Centre for Migration Research in collaboration with the Proposed Centre for Innovation and Research in Wellbeing, and the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR) and Mahidol Migration Center (MMC) at Mahidol University, Thailand.
